Lautaro Martinez to Chelsea? Inter President Zanetti Confirm Position!

Inter Milan vice president, Javier Zanetti, has confirmed upadates on rumors linking Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan to Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Javier Zanetti, debunked rumors Inter Milan are in talks to sell Lautaro Martinez this summer.

Zanetti revealed the Argentine international is very happy at Inter Milan and there are no talks or negotiations from any club to buy the player this summer.

Zanetti’s statement reads;

“There is nothing from other clubs for Lautaro Martinez, no negotiations. I can confirm Lautaro Martinez is very happy at Inter Milan.” (Source; Fabrizio Romano)

Lautaro Martinez came second on 2022/23 Serie A top scorers chart, finishing with 21 goals behind Victor Osimhen, who clinched the Golden Boot award with 26 goals.

Martinez who also won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina national team has been a top target for some big clubs in Europe.

Reports emerged Premier League club, Chelsea, were interested in a summer move for Lautaro Martinez and were ready to sign the striker this summer.

Other clubs were also reportedly interested in Martinez but such rumors has now been debunked by Zanetti.

After losing out of tne Serie title race, there were reports Inter Milan are looking to bolster the squad with more signings this summer with Lautaro Martinez’s future on the cards despite a brilliant campaign with the club.

The Argentine has three years remaining in his Inter Milan contract after he signed a new five-year deal with the club in 2021.

This season, Martinez took Inter Milan to a domestic double but missed out on the Serie A title race and Champions League title.
