PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence on rumors linking him to a move to Real Madrid and his future at PSG next season, MySportDab reports.

French media outlet LeParisien took to their social media handle to tweet a post and share an article claiming Mbappe is closing in on joining Real Madrid this summer.

LeParisien wrote on Twitter, ” PSG: Kylian Mbappe wants to join Real this summer.”

Replying to LeParisien’s tweet, Kylian Mbappe tweeted in French;

“At the same time, the bigger it is the more it passes. I have already said I will continue at PSG next season.”

On Monday, Kylian Mbappe rattled PSG hierachy after submitting a letter to the club’s hierachy confirming his decision not to extend his contract beyond 2024.

The prolific French and PSG talisman is on a three-year contract with PSG which is set to expire in 2024.

He has a one-year extension clause attached to the deal but has now informed the club he will not renew the contract when it expires in 2024.

PSG now has three options on the table – sell Mbappe this summer, renew his contract with fresh terms, or lose him on a free transfer next season.

Before signing fresh terms with PSG in 2021, Kylian Mbappe was strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid but he snubbed the La Liga club and decided to continue with the French giants.

Kylian Mbappe’s exit letter from PSG is coming just a day before the transfer window officially opens in Europe.

This has fueled rumors he is eyeing a move to Real Madrid after the La Liga club lose Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad.

Now, the PSG front-man has confirmed he is not joining Real Madrid but will continue at PSG next season despite submitting the exit letter.
