Mason Greenwood return to Manchester United could happen as soon as possible amid new claims, MySportDab reports.

The Manchester United graduate is ‘delighted’ amid reports he could be brought back into the team for the new season but return would be controversial.

Mason Greenwood return is possible but as the case may be, his fate is not in the hand of current manager Erik Ten Hag who is hopeless in the situation.

The forward saw charges of attempted rape, attack and coercive and controlling behaviour against him dropped prematurely this year in February 2023.

Although he is still facing suspension by the club as they conduct an internal investigation into him and the whole incident that happened at the reported time.

A conclusion is foreseen to be made in the immediate future, however, Ten Hag has formerly said that it would not be made by him as he does not have the power over the situation.

Although he and his teammates will be happy to have him back with them as it will give them an advantage going into the new season according to TalkSport.

Meanwhile, Mason Greenwood has been doing everything possible to ensure he make a return to the team where he already missed a lot.

A return to the team is sure expected to cause a lot of controversies which is the major concern for the club who are still doing an investigation.

Greenwood career have been on standstill since January 2022 when the case against him was made to the public leading to his first arrest.

There are also claims of the Women team who have already voiced out their opinion on the issue which a huge controversy could hit the team if the player get to return to playing.

Mason Greenwood could also be sent on a loan move which would see the side give him more playing time and see how much they can make selling him off elsewhere.
