Mason Mount has agreed personal terms with Manchester United to join the club this summer, MySportDab reports.
According to the Mirror, Mason has agreed to sign a five-year contract with Manchester United.
The report also adds Manchester United are willing to pay Mason Mount as much as £200,000 weekly with the England star agreeing to the deal.
Mount earned £80,000 weekly at Chelsea and had demanded an increased wage in Chelse’s new contract offer which did not go through.
The England international demanded a whooping £250,000 weekly wage before signing a new deal with Chelsea.
Chelsea refused to agree to the proposal and where ready to let him leave the club despite still having contract with the club.
Manchester United were leading the race to sign Mason Mount and and have submitted first and second bids for the player which has been rejected.
Now, sources close to the England star have revealed Mason Mount has been desperate to move to Manchester United as he hopes to breath life back to his career.
Mount is a top midfielder but has struggled at Chelsea in the just-concluded 2022/23 season.
The England international is said to have given a nod to Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United project after he has been guaranteed of regular starting place in the squad.
From the foregoing, there are projections Mason Greenwood will likely be Manchester United first signing this season.
The club are preparing for a third bid for Mount after having their first and second bid rejected.
