Luka Modric Extends Real Madrid Contract!

Luka Modric has extended his Real Madrid by one more year, MySportDab reports.

The Croatian ace was set to leave the club this summer with his contract set to expire this month.

There have been offers and big proposals from Saudi clubs looking to sign the player as a free agent.

Luka Modric was clear on his future at Real Madrid amid interest from other clubs – he wanted to stay at Real Madrid and win more trophies with the club.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Luka Modric has agreed in principle to stay at Real Madrid for one more year at the club.

Fabrizio Romano says

“Luka Modric will stay at Real Madrid next season. Here we go. Agreement in principle over new contract until 2024.”

“Modric has been an integral member of the Real Madrid squad, playing as a first team player under different managers.”

After the likes of Nacho is who now Real Madrid captain, and Karim Benzema, who left the club the club to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, Luka Modric is one of thel
longest-serving players in Real Madrid having played for the club for 11 years.

Luka Modric joined Real Madrid in 2012 from Tottenham Hotspur and has made 327 appearances for the club, scoring 26 goals.

He has won 3 La Liga titles, 2 Copa Del Rey, 4 Supercopa Des Espana, 5 Champions League, 4 UEFA Super Cup, and 4 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Croatian roving midfielder will hope to hit the ground running with the club next season in what could be the last lap of his career with the club.
