The group stage draw for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup has been released, MySportDab reports.
The one-month tournament which will kickoff from 20 July to 20 August will feature some of the best senior women national teams in the world.
The tournament comprises of 8 groups with four teams with the top two in each group set to qualify for the knockouts while the bottom two will be eliminated from the Group stages.
The group stages draws has been confirmed with all teams now aware of their respective opponents as the tournament kicks off on July 20.
African representatives in the tournament are Nigeria, Zambia, Morocco, and South Africa.
Nigeria are in group B alongside Australia, Canada, and Republic of Ireland.
Zambia are in group C with Costa Rica, Japan, and Spain.
South Africa are placed in Group G with Argentina, Italy, and Sweden while Morocco are in Group H with Colombia Germany, and South Korea.

The tournament will be streamed live on major online streaming platforms with the host New Zealand set to kick off proceedings on July 20 before other teams take up their opponents.
