Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed personal terms with Olympic Marseille, MySportDab reports.
Aubameyang, who joined Chelsea last summer from Barcelona have been struggling to find his footing after returning to London.
Under former manager Graham Potter, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was axed off Chelsea’s starting lineup as his poor start to his Chelsea career continued.
He was subsequently axed off the club’s Champions League squad.
With Todd Boehly set for a major summer overhaul, it was understood Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang will join the host of many Chelsea first team players that are leaving the club this summer.
Despite spending just one season at the club with a year remaining in his Chelsea contract, Aubameyang needed a new challenge to save his career after Chelsea deadlock.
He was linked with a return to Barcelona as he continue to struggle for a place in Chelsea squad.
Now, according to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is edging close to his Chelsea exit this summer as he has agreed personal terms with French Ligue side Olympic Marseille.
The report adds Aubameyang is open to a new challenge returning to French Ligue 1 with Olympic Marseille offering him a three-year contract.
He has also reached agreement with on other critical aspects of the deal but will now hope for a successful negotiation between Chelsea and Olympic Marseille for the move to happen.
Chelsea are open to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang exit but for an offer yet to be revealed.
Aubameyang will join the list of many Chelsea players that have left the club this summer like Edouard Mendy, N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Cesar Azpilicueta, and others.
