Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 1-2 in a pre-season friendly match, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League side had things under control in the first half while they also scored one goal in the process.
Laporte scored the winner for the Premier League side which came late in the encounter between them.

The friendly encounter kicked off with so much coming from the two teams who played in the Champions League last season.
Bayern Munich started well pushing with everything they had going forward as the made some opportunities happen but couldn’t put them to good use.
Manchester City took the lead in the 21st minutes through their wonderful teamwork which saw James McAtee making it count as scoreline turned 0-1.
The remainder of the first half was nothing much as they only did manage some opportunities but scoring wasn’t easy for them moving forward.
Manchester City had dominance as they headed inside for the break with a 0-1 lead against Bayern Munich who failed to pull back level.
A lot more happened in the second half which saw both teams making so many changes as they wanted more off the match.
Bayern Munich continued to push to make a comeback but nothing was happening with the game moving on with more opportunities.
Manchester City stayed in the lead hitting the 70th minutes mark which they had to put away every attempts made by the German Champions to level things.
Mathys Tel leveled things 1-1 in the 82nd minutes which saw the match balancing back, but it didn’t take long for things to change again.
Laporte restored the lead to 1-2 in the 86th minutes of the match which was just after the Bavarians scored their equalizer.
Manchester City ended the match with a 1-2 victory against Bayern Munich who were unable to hold on after coming back with a leveler.
