Bayern Munich are not backing off from the race to sign Harry Kane as they have now proposed a new offer to Spurs for the player, MySportDab reports.
After two previous bids for Harry Kane has been turned down by Spurs, the Bundesliga giants are still keen on brokering a deal with Tottenham for the player.
According to reports reaching us Daily Mail, Bayern Munich have a new £86m offer for Tottenham to sign Harry Kane, marking a sharp increase from their two previous offers for the player but still below Tottenham’s valuation of the player.
MySportDab understand Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, who is known as a hardline negotiator, is not ready to ways with Harry Kane after the latter’s prolific campaign last season.
However, Levy may soon be forced to shift his stand on Harry Kane if the contract renewal attempt drags on.
Tottenham owner, Joe Lewis, has told Levy to ensure Harry Kane is sold and not allowed to leave on a free transfer if he is not ready to renew his contract.
It is understood Tottenham are fearing losing Harry Kane on a free transfer after the upcoming 2023/24 season with Bayern Munich still hanging around to buy the player.
The Telegraph reports, Bayern Munich officials have flown into London for talks with Daniel Levy and will drop the improved bid for the player.
As expected, Tottenham are still expected to turn down the offer as they hope to broker a contract renewal talks with the player.
Sources close to Kane have revealed the player is ready to leave Tottenham this summer and is eyeing a new challenge away from the club.
