Fallen Everton striker, Dele Alli, has sparked reactions with his shock revelations about his downfall in football, MySportDab reports.

Dele Alli was one of the most exciting youngsters in English football before his career took a drastic downturn.

After a legendary outing with Tottenham which climaxed during the era of Mauricio Pochettino, Dele Alli’s fall started effectively in 2020/21 season when Jose Mourinho was appointed Tottenham manager.

He was axed of Spurs’ starting lineup and was benched for most of the games. Cutting a frustrated figure in the Tottenham bench, Alli left for Everton in 2021/22 season and continue struggling to get back to top level.

He was loaned to Besiktas in Turkey where his form became worse to the point of the Turkish side considering terminating his loan contract.

After the expiration of his loan tenure, Dele Alli is ready to get back to his game and see how he can revive his career at Everton.

After much ado about his storied career, Dele Alli has finally spoken on his downfall from top level football.

Speaking with Gary Neville in an exclusive interview, Alli addressed key issues of his fall including how he struggled with childhood trauma and how Jose Mourinho mangled his career making him consider retirement at the prime age of 24.

“Jose Mourinho called me lazy just a day after I recovered from injury but he later apologized at the back. But sadly, the media did not carry the apology,” he said.

On his childhood, Dele Alli said his mother, Denise from England, was an alcoholic and he had cut ties with her and his father, Kehinde Alli, because they betrayed him by saying his adopted parents who helped him push through a football career were trying to harm him.

“I cut ties with my parents because they betray me. I have not spoken with them because they went to press and tried to frame up my helpers, my adopted parents,” he said.

Alli also talked about how he was molested by her mother’s friend at 6 peddled drugs a 8, hung on a Bridge at 11, before his adopted parents found him and help him with his football career at 12.
