Erik Ten Hag Promotes Three Academy Stars to Man United First Team

Erik Ten Hag has promoted three Manchester United players to the club’s first team as the club kicks off preseason training, MySportDab reports.

Leading the the list of the three names promoted to the squad is promising midfielder, Charlie Savage, 20.

Charlie Savage has made an appearance for Manchester United first team in the Red Devils’ clash against BSC Young Boys last season.

He was yet to cement his place in the Man United squad and was loaned to Forest Green Rovers in League One where he further learn the ropes.

Also on the new names brought into the squad is Polish yougster Maxi Oyedele.

Oyedele plays as a midfielder and was plying his trade at Altrincham in the National League.

The Polish youth shone bright at Altrincham, scoring four goals in 15 appearances for the club and will hope to quickly break into Man United first team.

Last on the list, is another promising midfielder Isak Hansen-Aarøen.

Hansen Aaroen, 18, played his way up to United main team playing for the club’s youth side since he joined from Tromso from Norway in 2020.

Hansen Aaroen was one of the youngest and talented youth players in Manchester United youth.

He joined at the age of 15 and has played for the youth side for three years before this chance for first team training session.

Elsewhere, some major names are missing from Erik Ten Hag’s first preseason training.

It has been confirmed the likes of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes are yet to return for the preseason training.

Mason Mount made his first appearance in Manchester United training after joining the club from domestic rivals Chelsea as the club’s first signing.
