FIFAWWC: England 1-0 Denmark, Lauren James Score ROCKET! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

England claimed a victory against Denmark 1-0 to make their way into the round of 16 FIFA Women’s World Cup, MSportDab reports.

Lauren James was the center of attraction as she scored a rocket goal which helped the Lioness grad a first-half lead.

The early goal was the only one that separated both teams after 90 minutes of football which was played between the both of them.

The game started with so much seen from both teams moving forward in search of something early in the match.

England started well scoring the lead in the 6th minute of the game which came through an outside rocket strike that made it 1-0.

The game was closed between both teams as Denmark push to make themselves comeback into the match but it wasn’t an easy task for them.

They continued playing with everything they have to offer, but it wasn’t looking good or close to anything coming through for them.

Kiera Walsh was removed from the game after suffering an injury which forced a change that saw Laura Combs coming in as a replacement.

England headed for the break with a 1-0 lead against Denmark in what was an entertaining encounter between the both of them going forward.

It was an exceptional one coming in the second half from them both of them going forward with the remaining first half to play.

Denmark was still the side chasing the game and looking to find a way back, but they almost conceded another goal from a strike from Alessia Russo which went wide.

It was looking sharp from England who were still in the match hoping to make something happen but it was all going to waste.

The Lionesses dominated play and had more of the ball possession which helped them keep things in control as the match ended with England 1-0 Denmark.
