FIFAWWC: France 2-1 Brazil, Wendie Renard Net WINNER! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

France overcome Brazil to claim a 2-1 victory in their second match of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, MySportDab reports.

Wendie Therese Renard scored the winning goal after the Brazilian Women leveled the scoreline in the match.

The encounter was one in which both teams did well but the result ended in favor of the Blues Women who escaped with all three points.

The match was a heated one between both teams who came in strong and did all in their power moving forward to make something happen.

France came in strong in the match and scored the lead in the 17th minutes through a wonderful goal that came from Eugenie Anne Claudine Le Sommer to make it 1-0.

It wasn’t easy for Brazil who had to keep on pushing and looking for a way to make a comeback as the game approached the half hour mark and still on same scoreline.

Nothing else happened in the match which so much was seen in terms of beautiful play and also opportunities but nothing changed the scoreline which was 1-0.

France held on to their advantage which was 1-0 against Brazil as they headed for the break after a wonderful 45 minutes of football.

They came in stronger and looked to make sure they get something going in the match which had a lot happening between them.

Debora Cristiane de Oliveira scored the equalizer in the 58th minutes bringing Brazil back into the game with the scoreline 1-1.

France regrouped and took on the game as they continued pressing in search of restoring their lead which didn’t come so easy for them moving on.

Wendie Therese Renard scored in the 83rd minutes making things 2-1 from a wonderful goal which the match went back in the favor of the French Women.

France claimed the needed victory 2-1 against Brazil who gave them a good run but was unable to take anything out of the match after 90 minutes.
