FIFAWWC: Germany 6-0 Morocco, Alexandra Popp Bag BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Germany made light work of Morocco in their opening match of the FIFA Women’s World Cup with a 6-0 thrashing, MySportDab reports.

Alexandra Popp scored a brace for the German women who came into the match seeking to score as many goals as possible.

Two own-goal were scored by the Moroccans who couldn’t make anything happen for themselves in the encounter.

The first half of the match could only see Morocco staying in the encounter for 10 minutes before the goals started pouring in.

Germany scored the opening goal in the 11th minutes through a wonderful finish from Alexandra Popp who made sure her side took a 1-0 lead.

The game pushed on forward with a lot happening from the both of them and their African team did well enough trying to hold off all attacks.

Alexandra Popp doubled the advantage in the 39th minutes of the match which resulted in making things 2-0 between them as they progressed.

Germany took a 2-0 lead into the break with Morocco doing nothing to stop both goals from going inside the net from the Wolfsburg striker.

The German women resumed where they stopped in the second half with so much happening and also more goals being scored.

Another goal came in from Germany in the 46th minutes through Klara Buehl who was able to make the game 3-0 with yet another wonderful finish.

Morocco conceded an own-goal in the 54th minutes making the scoreline increased further to 4-0 between the both of them in the match.

Yasmin Katie Mrabet Slack scored another own-goal in the 79th minutes of the match which was able to make things in the match 5-0.

A 90th minutes goal from Lea Schueller ensured the scoreline increased to 6-0 as Germany continued with another goal which could have made it 7 but VAR cut it off.

Morocco bow to a thrashing from the Germans who made sure they ended the match beating their opponent 6-0 after 90 minutes played.
