FIFAWWC: Spain 5-0 Zambia, Copper Queens Crash OUT! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Spain thrashed Zambia 5-0 in their second game of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, MySportDab reports.

The Copper Queens crashed out of the tournament after losing two games with the left with one against Costa Rica.

Jennifer Hermoso Fuentes and Alba Redondo both scored a brace in the match which send the Spanish women into the next round.

The first half saw so much happening from both sides, but it was the Spanish women who were able to make so much happen.

Spain did well by giving their opponent enough respect before Teresa Abilleira Duenas opened the goal scoring in the 9th minute making it 1-0.

Zambia had some little moments of their own, but it wasn’t enough as they went down further behind 2-0 with a goal scored by Jennifer Hermoso Fuentes in the 13th minute.

The remainder of the first half was balanced with both teams creating opportunities from their end but couldn’t make it count at any point.

Spain ended the first 45 minutes with a 2-0 lead against Zambia who were beaten both by goals and ball possession moving forward.

The remaining 45 minutes was another long ride for the Copper Queens who couldn’t stop the goals from flooding in all through.

Alba Redondo kept the ball rolling at the back of the net with an incredible goal to give Spain a 3-0 lead coming from the 69th minutes of the game.

Zambia conceded again in the 70th minutes with a shocker which came from Jennifer Hermoso Fuentes to make things 4-0 and a brace as they pushed on further.

Alba Redondo was able to finish off the goal scoring with a brace from her which made the scoreline 5-0 in the 86th minutes of the match.

Spain advanced into the next round beating Zambia 5-0 which made it two victories for them and the Copper Queens crashing out despite one game left to play.
