Cristiano Ronaldo blanked in his 45 minutes appearance for Al Nassr as they suffered a heavy defeat to Celta Vigo in a preseason friendly, MySportDab reports.

It was dragging first half between both sides as they ended up goalless after a tightly-contested encounter.

The match saw Al Nassr new signing from Inter Milan Marcelo Brozovic making his debut appearance for the club but it was all a disappointing outing.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a big chance to give Al Nassr the lead in the first had but fired blank before Celta Vigo took charge of the game.

Both sides were unable to break the goal deadlock in the first 45 minutes as they settled for a goalless draw before the break.

In the second half, it was a rout as the La Liga club grab the game by the scruff of the neck and hurled in goals easily.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo Brozovic were subbed off in the game before Celta Vigo started scoring goals for fun.

Just before the hour mark, Alonso opened the scoring for Celta Vigo for the first goal breakthrough.

Rodriguez doubled the lead just five minutes later in the 62nd minutes before bagging his brace in the 71st minute to make it 3-0.

In just less than 9 minutes, Celta Vigo were up by three goals without a reply from Al Nassr.

After Rodriguez’s brace, Larsen made it 4-0 in 73rd minute as the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League runners-up continue to go on a free fall.

Larsen scored again just two minutes after his first goal to bag a quickfire brace as Celta Vigo made it 5-0 in a flash.

Al Nassr manager Luis Castro made a series of late substitutions which halted the goal rout but they were unable to score even a consolation goal.

The match ended with Al Nassr suffering a thumping 5-0 defeat.
