Sweden came from behind to claim an impressive 2-1 victory against South Africa at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, MySportDab reports.
Fridolina Rolfo was on target as she helped herself kick start the come back which eventually saw them making things happen.
It wasn’t a good opener for Bayana Bayana who couldn’t make anything much happen after taking the lead against their opponent.

There was so much that came to play between both teams who were equally matched and balanced moving forward and defending.
The game for South Africa wasn’t an easy one knowing they have always struggle against foreign opponent despite being the Champions of Africa.
Sweden were well organized and was able to create some close opportunities looking to have themselves in front of their opponent which didn’t happen.
There was a lot of chances from both ends, but nothing worked out as the game entered the 40th minutes and scoreline still staying goalless between both teams.
They wasn’t enough clinical finish coming from Sweden or South Africa who had their chances but couldn’t make them count despite how much they kept on seeing them.
They continued the remaining half of the game with so much pace and eagerness to see themselves make something happen in the match.
South Africa scored the opening goal in the 48th minutes of the game which came after a wonderful teamwork leading to Hildah Magaia making it 0-1.
Sweden were more aggressive and pushed with everything they had going forward in the match which later saw a 65th minutes leveler from Fridolina Rolfo to make it 1-1.
The match pushed on with a lot more happening but no goal came until the 90th minutes which saw Amanda Ilestedt scored and made sure the Swedish Women took a 2-1 lead.
The game ended with Sweden sealing a 2-1 victory after coming from one goal down against South Africa who gave them a good run for their valuable three points.
