The Hungarian midfielder makes it the second new arrival for Liverpool who earlier announced Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove.
Liverpool made the announcement via their official website confirming the player arrival to their team ahead of the preseason.
Here Is What Dominik Szoboszlai Said:
“It’s really, really good. I enjoyed the last [few] days and I’m looking forward to knowing everybody better.
“The last three or four days went really long; it was not that easy.
“But at the end I’m here, I’m happy and I can’t wait to get started.
“[A] really historic club, really good players, good coach, everything is good.
“For me it was perfect to make the next step in a club like this.
“The fans, the stadium, everything is really good.
“I will be number 8 as I’ve a tattoo from Steven Gerrard.
“That was a reason why. He was one of the biggest when I was a child”.
“Klopp? Yes, he called me — it’s true.
“I said: ok, this is going to be a very good thing. Everything was perfect”.
The new arrival will take over the legendary number eight worn by Steven Gerrard before his retirement.
The medical and other things already took place and Liverpool decided to make everything official today.
Dominik Szoboszlai will be taking part with the other players of the team who will be preparing to depart for their preseason.
