Man United Release Statement Over Ten Hag And Maguire Captaincy Dispute

Manchester United have released their official statement concerning Erik Ten Hag and Harry Maguire captaincy dispute, MySportDab reports.

The England international was earlier stripped off his captaincy role at Old Trafford by manager Erik Ten Hag.

Harry Maguire have took to social media to air his opinion on the decision which Manchester United has now put out an official statement.

Things haven’t gone the way of the defender who could already be on his way out of Old Trafford with the latest move from Erik Ten Hag.

With the new season coming up fast, the Premier League side are doing everything to work out plans and strategy with a new man leading the team.

The decision to ice out Harry Maguire as captain of the team comes after a run of poor display anytime he is given a playing chance.

His role has also been cut short and limited to few amount of playing time due to his drop in form.

According to the Manchester United official website, they also made their statement concerning the situation between the player and the manager.

“Everyone at Manchester United thanks Harry Maguire for his contribution as captain over the past three and a half years”.

“The manager will announce the new captain in due course, after briefing the players”.

A new captain will be announced as many are expecting Bruno Fernandes to be the man who handle the captaincy from henceforth.

Harry Maguire could also be looking to make a move elsewhere and put his Manchester United journey to an end after three years and more.
