Manchester United have now confirmed the squad for today’s pre-season friendly against Lyon, MySportDab reports.
Jonny Evans has signed a contract with Manchester United and started training at Carrington with the Under-21s.
The defender is working with the first team to keep fit until he finds a new club after leaving Leicester City.
However, Evans will get the chance to play for his old club again due to the short-term deal as part of the pre-season tour.
Manchester United face Wrexham in San Diego on July 25 before playing against Real Madrid in Houston.
The likes of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and the other internationals are not in the squad.
Those players will train at Carrington on Wednesday before joining the squad in New York.
Speaking to MUTV, Ten Hag said: “Most of those players can’t play in Edinburgh because they need time and a good training week.
“They played most games in the last season, so they needed more rest. So then we have to bring them back, but carefully and you can’t go from 0 to 100.”
Goalkeeper Tom Heaton misses out including Tyrell Malacia and Rhys Bennett due to injuries.
Ten Hag is likely to mix the youth with experienced players again to face Lyon and then more changes at half-time.
