Manchester United Receive Andre Onana Boost After Second Bid!

Manchester United have been handed Andre Onana transfer boost after submitting a second offer for the player, MySportDab reports reports

The Premier League club have been on the trail of Onana as a replacement for David De Gea after contract renewal talks with the Spaniard collapsed.

Manchester United made a first verbal offer of €45m for Andre Onana which was turned down by Inter Milan.

On Thursday, United increased their offer for Andre Onana to €55m with sources close to the two clubs revealing the latest offer should be enough to seal the deal.

As of the time of filing this report, Inter Milan are still holding out for their €60m demand for Andre Onana and are not budging in their stand.

However, Manchester United are confident of sealing a deal with the Serie A giants after the latest offer.

Now, according to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been handed a big boost in their pursuit of Andre Onana as Inter Milan have immediately opened talks to sign Bayern Munich goalkeeper Yann Sommer this summer as replacement for Andre Onana.

Yann Sommer has an exit clause allowing him to leave Bayern Munich when the sum invested by the club in his signing is paid back.

Inter Milan’s opened negotiations with Bayern Munich for Yann Sommer is coming after United tabled a €55m offer for Onana, €5m short of their demand.

There is an air of optimism, Inter Milan and Manchester United are more likely to reach an agreement soon on Onana with the Serie A side already shopping for replacements for the Cameroonian.

Onana and Ten Hag worked together at Ajax before the two left the club in 2021/22 season at the same time.

The Dutch manager is hoping to seal a deal for the highly-rated shotstopper as contract renewal talks with David De Gea seems to have collapsed.
