PSG have dropped Kylian Mbappe from the club’s preseason tour in Japan, MySportDab reports.

The highly-rated forward has been in a war-of-words with the PSG hierarchy of recent after he submitted a bombshell letter to the club reiterating his decision not to renew his contract when it expires after the upcoming 2023/24 season.

While Mbappe have insisted his exit letter was just a reminder because he has already tell the club in 2022 that he will not sign a new contract, PSG are not taking his moves lightly.

The club’s position is clear as revealed by Nasser Al-Khelaifi – it is either he (Kylian Mbappe) sign a new contract or be sold this summer because the club is not ready to lose him for free in 2024.

Now according to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, PSG’s relationship with Kylian Mbappe has been strained further as the club have dropped him from their preseason tour in Japan.

The report adds the move by PSG is a reaction to Kylian Mbappe’s transfer nuances of recent as the French striker refuses to reverse his decision to leave the club on a free transfer.

Recall Kylian Mbappe was given until July 31 to make his decision on whether to sign a new contract or be sold.

Sources close to the club have revealed PSG are angry because they believe Mbappe has reached an agreement to join Real Madrid on a free transfer after next season hence the club have decided to drop him from the squad to show him that he is not bigger than the club.

PSG are openly ready to sell him and are looking for offers for him after the total breakdown of talks for a new deal.
