Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Al Nassr to a deserved victory as he continues on his prolific form for the club since return from injury.

The Portuguese all-time top scorer opened the scoring for Al Nassr in the 13th minute with a spotkick to steer the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League runners-up into the lead.

The home side continue to stay atop proceedings going forward despite taking the lead.

In the 38th minute, Al Shabab conceded another penalty dampening their chances of coming back as Cristiano stepped up to the occasion and converted the spotkick again to bag his brace and double the lead.

Two minutes after Cristiano Ronaldo’s second goal, former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane found the back of the net for Al Nassr, scoring a brilliant goal to make it 3-0 for the home side at the interval.

Al Nassr were still dominant with the ball in the last 45 minutes of the game despite scurrying themselves into a deserved 3-0 lead.

In the 63rd minute, the hosts nearly made it 4-0 after Al Shabab conceded a third penalty due to mounting pressure but Ghareeb missed the spotkick.

In the 78th minute, Al Shabab were reduced to 10 men when Banega bags a red.

Two minutes after Banega’s red card, Al Ghannam made it 4-0 for Al Nassr in the 80th minute to wrap up a big win for the home side.

The match ended with Al Nassr cruising to a deserved 4-0 win after a sensational performance.
