AC Milan have defeated Bologna to grab all three points in their 2023/24 opening Serie A clash, MySportDab reports.

Bologna also gave a good account of themselves with a resilient defending balanced with a good attacking flair but were slightly dominated by the visitors.

Bologna put up a more impressive performance in the second half as they hoped to pull a comeback.
Capitalizing on the home advantage, they made a concerted attempt to break the goal deadlock but could not beat down AC Milan defence.
The away side held onto the 2-0 lead with the second half far spent. Thanks to a strong defending that denied Bologna a chance to reduce the deficit.
Bologna continued to mount pressure towards the final minutes but could not score as AC Milan held on to grab a deserved 2-0 win after the final whistle.
