Liverpool made light of their one-man disadvantage to see off Bournemouth at Anfield in their second Premier League game this season, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was a poor start for the Reds who struggled to gain a good footing early in the game.

A defensive mistake by Alexander Arnold was capitalised by Solanke, who pass the ball to Semenyo to give Bournemouth the lead in the 3rd minute.

After conceding, Liverpool ramped up attempts to pull a comeback as they stepped up their game immediately.

In the 27th minute, Luis Diaz came to their rescue, scoring his second goal this season to level the scores.

Liverpool continued to dominate proceedings after the equaliser and were able to steer themselves into the lead in the 36th minute.

Mo Salah nearly missed a spotkick but was quick enough to volley home the rebound from Neto’s save to put the Reds in the lead.

The first half ended with Liverpool coming from behind to take a 2-1 lead.

Second Half Report

Liverpool started the second half with a better performance but were dealt a big blow to their attempt to extend the lead in the 58th when Marc Allister saw a straight red card.

Allister went on a reckless studs-up challenge on Christie and was issued a straight red card.

Despite going a man down, Liverpool still contested for the ball and were on top of their game.

In the 63rd minute, Diego Jota made light of the one-man disadvantage as he scored Liverpool’s third goal to hand the Reds a 3-1 lead.

Bournemouth made a late attempt to restore comeback hopes but were contained by the Reds who held on to run out with a 3-1 win after the final whistle.
