Liverpool with 10 players came from behind to beat Newcastle United 1-2, MySportDab reports.
Darwin Nunez brace was good enough to make sure the Reds did not end up losing the match which they played mostly without one player.
Virgil Van Dijk was shown a red card which it was the first since 2016 for the defender who didn’t play much part of the game.

The first half was clever coming from the home side who had everything under control and also did benefited from their dominance.
Liverpool had enough from their end to make sure the game was under control for them as they struggled to find their balance on the pitch.
Anthony Gordon scored the lead for Newcastle United in the 25th minutes of the game after a wonderful teamwork push saw the game turned 1-0.
Things became catastrophic for the Reds who saw Virgil Van Dijk getting a straight red card in the 28th minutes of the encounter making them reduce to 10 players.
Liverpool were able to hold on to play and headed for the first half behind against Newcastle United who had everything in their favor 1-0 after 45 minutes.
There was more which came from both teams and mostly the Reds who had to struggle with playing the remainder of the match with 10 players.
Liverpool were a lot more calm and doing everything to try and cover any open space on the pitch between them and their opposition.
Newcastle United couldn’t make good use of their advantage with the game moving on hitting the 70th minutes mark with scoreline still the same.
Darwin Nunez scored in the 81st minutes of the game ensuring things became level 1-1 which wasn’t expected to happen for the Red who were at a disadvantage.
Darwin Nunez once again with brace in the added time of the match which saw him being able to make the scoreline 1-2.
Liverpool were able to claim themselves all three points from the match after making a comeback to beat Newcastle United 1-2 after the end.
