Liverpool have reacted to Al Ittihad tempting offer for one of their key man, Mohamed Salah, MySportDab reports.
After completing deals for big-name players from Europe such as Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Fabinho, Al Ittihad have now turned their attention to Mohamed Salah.
The Saudi Pro League champions under the machinations of former Premier League manager, Nuno Espirito Santos, have prepared a mega contract offer for Mohamed Salah.
According to reports, Al Ittihad and Saudi Arabia want to make Mohamed Salah the new face of the Saudi Pro League as Cristiano Ronaldo closed in on wrapping up his contract with Al Nassr.
They have prepared a record contract offer worth over £3.4m for Salah, who will now earn more than Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo takes home £3.4m at Al Nassr every week while Karim Benzema’s weekly wage at Al Ittihad is £3.3m, and Neymar £2.5m at Al Hilal.
Mohamed Salah will overtake all the three highest-earners should he seal a move to Al Ittihad but Al Ittihad will have to reach agreement with Liverpool
Now, according to Daily Mail, Liverpool have reacted to Al Ittihad’s interest in Salah.
The message of the Merseyside club is clear – they will not enter into talks or sanction a deal involving Mohamed Salah’s exit from Liverpool this summer.
Salah has a running three-year contract with Liverpool signed last summer till 2025.
He is the club’s highest-paid player with a £358,000 weekly wage but there are reports he could be tempted by Al Ittihad’s lucrative offer.
The Saudi Pro League champions have reportedly met with his representatives to discuss the deal and are ready to table their offer before the transfer window closes.
