Manchester City Reach Agreement For Jeremy Doku! [Details]

Manchester City have reached agreement with Rennes to sign prolific Belgian winger, Jeremy Doku.

Tipped as one of the most promising right wingers due his pace, speed and creativity with the ball, the 21-year-old is set to for a switch to Etihad from French Ligue 1.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have reached a verbal agreement with Rennes for Doku and are closing in on signing the winger.

Personal terms is not an issue as the club have already reached agreement with the 21-year-old and are ready to add him to the star-studded squad.

Jeremy Doku will be expected to complete his medical this week after all final details of the contract is thrashed out by Manchester City and Rennes.

The Premier League and European champions have offered Rennes a pay package worth €60m plus add-ons.

Jeremy Doku, plays as a right winger and will be expected to fill the void left by former Manchester City and Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez left Manchester City for Saudi Arabia, joining Al Ahli, after struggling for game time under Pep Guardiola.

Doku, who has won 14 caps with Belgium national since making his debut as a teenager in 2020 will be hoping to a new exciting challenge with Manchester City.

He is the second top signing joining Manchester City this summer after the treble winners sign Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.

Elsewhere, Manchester City are closing in on an agreement with Barcelona to sell Joao Cancelo to the Laliga giants.

A loan option is also being considered for out-of-favor England midfielder Kalvin Philips, who has been lost his starting berth at the club.
