Emmanuel Dennis, the Nigerian forward currently sidelined at Nottingham Forest, is poised for a potential move to Italy as Udinese registers their interest in the Premier League star, MySportDab reports.

Having yet to grace the pitch this season and conspicuously missing from Nottingham Forest’s matchday squad, Dennis has emerged as a target for Serie A outfit Udinese.

Despite the buzz surrounding a possible shift to Saudi Arabian clubs, Dennis has been resolute in his preference for a European move, effectively closing the door on those rumors.

His lack of game time in the initial three matches of the season has fueled speculation of an impending exit for the 25-year-old former Watford player.

As Nottingham Forest seeks to streamline their squad following an influx of new signings during the summer, a departure for Dennis appears likely in the cards, aimed at maintaining a harmonious balance within the team.

Dennis, whose talents have captured the attention of multiple suitors, including Leeds United and Atalanta, has now attracted Udinese’s focus.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Serie A club has tabled an offer to entice the seven-capped Nigerian International away from Nottingham Forest.

Yet, the path to Udinese might be strewn with obstacles, as other clubs are also eyeing Dennis as a potential addition to bolster their attacking prowess, creating a competitive atmosphere for his signature.

Despite Udinese having a backup plan in former Liverpool striker Divock Origi, Dennis remains their primary target, as indicated by Di Marzio.

The possibility of a move to Saudi Arabian clubs still looms should Dennis reconsider, further adding to the intrigue surrounding his impending decision.

Coincidentally, Dennis’s teammate at both club and national levels, Taiwo Awoniyi, has been a standout performer for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Awoniyi has been on a scoring spree, netting goals in his last seven league matches, extending back to the previous season. This juxtaposition further underscores the shifting dynamics within Nottingham Forest’s attacking lineup.
