Cristiano Ronaldo Confirms New Retirement Plan [Full Details]

Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed his new retirement plan as he approaches the twilight of his career, MySportDab reports

Cristiano Ronaldo is 38 years old and is on the last lap of his contract with Al Nassr after joining the club as a free agent from Manchester United last summer.

There have been speculations that he may likely hang the boots finally when his current contract with Al Nassr expires but it appears the football icon is not ready to call time on his career yet.

Flushed with success and still continuing in top level performance, Cristiano Ronaldo has debunked speculations he will call it a quit soon.

Speaking after netting his 9th goal this season for Al Nassr against Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo discountenance reports he is closing in on retirement from the game.

According to him, he loves football and will continue with his game because he loves scoring goals, winning matches and adding more laurels to his kit.

Here is what he said;

“They say Cristiano Ronaldo is done…but it is not true. I will continue to play until my legs say: Cristiano I’m done.”

“I still have a lot. I still love football. I love scoring goals. I still love winning games, titles, and trophies.”

“They say I’m done and it is time for me to finish but I’m still proving it is not true.”

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr as a last resort last summer after his contract was terminated at Manchester United following his bombshell interview.

He narrowly missed out on the Saudi Pro League title last season with Al Nassr as they lost the race late in the reason to Nuno Espirito Santo’s Al Ittihad.

This season, Al Nassr are back again on the title race with five straight wins with Cristiano Ronaldo currently leading the topscorers chart with 9 goals.

The five times Ballon d’Or winner will hope to clinch the Saudi Pro League trophy this season, adding it to the Arab Club Champions Cup trophy he won few weeks ago with the club.
