Premier League Goal of The Month of August Award Nominees has been announced with great strikes from top players earmarked for the award, MySportDab reports.
Leading the list of goals nominated for the award is Bukayo Saka’s goal for Arsenal in the club’s 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
Having the ball close to the edge of Nottingham Forest box, Saka dribbled up from the right wing towards the center and fired a screamer from outside the box with a curved strike.
Jarod Bowen’s thunderbolt strike for West Ham United against Bournemouth on August 12 has also been nominated for the award.
It was an incredible strike from the England star for the Hammers far from goal.
Alexander Isak’s second goal for Newcastle United against Aston Villa at St James Park has also made it to the list of the nominated goals for the award.
Breaking into Aston Villa box from the left wing, Alexander Isak beat Emiliano Martinez with a beautifully lobbed shot to score for the Magpies.
Gustavo Hammers’s strike for Sheffield United against Nottingham Forest has also been nominated for the award.
It was an incredible strike from Hammer from the left edge of Nottingham Forest box straight into the far post.
Kaoru Mitoma’s goal for Brighton against Wolves on Saturday, 19 August has also been selected for the award.
Mitoma drove in with speed from the center into Wolves’ box before beating the goalkeeper to slot home a beautiful volley.
Luis Diaz’s goal for Liverpool against Bournemouth on Saturday 19 August is also on the list.
Receiving the ball inside Bournemouth box, the Colombian lobbed the pass and slot home the goal with a bicycle kick
Raheem Sterling has made it to the awards for his goal for Chelsea against Luton, including Kevin Chaude’s strike for Brentford against Crystal Palace.
