Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has confirmed update on the situation of Jadon Sancho ahead of Burnley game, MySportDab reports.

The Dutch tactician and Jadon Sancho are at loggerheads after he chose to drop the English footballer from the squad in United’s trip to the Emirates before the international break for not living up to expectation in training.

Sancho took Erik Ten Hag’s decision to drop him from the Arsenal game to heart and came out ranting on social media on how Erik Ten Hag has scapegoated him.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger maintained he has always did his best for the club and will continue to give his best.

Jadon Sancho’s public rant further deepened his faceoff with Erik Ten Hag leading to him being suspended from first team training after he refused to apologize in a showdown talks with Ten Hag.

Sancho has now missed three competitive matches for Manchester United after being banished from the first team with concerns he may not play for the team again.

Now, Erik Ten Hag has confirmed the situation Sancho ahead of the club’s game against Burnley.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Ten Hag stated clearly Jadon Sancho is still banned from the club and will not make the traveling squad for Burnley game.

He, however, mentioned Sancho’s return to the squad is up to the player himself.

”It depends on him,’ he said.

”For the rest, we are preparing for Burnley and that’s our focus. He will not be in the squad.”

Sancho is training alone away from Manchester United first team and has been linked to a possible transfer exit from the club in January transfer window.

Close sources say Erik Ten Hag is open to his return but wants him to apologize – a step Sancho himself has refused to take.
