Liverpool came from behind to beat LASK 1-3 in their Europa League opening game, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League side were put on a scare which they were able to pull themselves back before the winner.
Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah all scored in the match that saw the Reds kicking off their Europa campaign with maximum three points.
Match Report
The first half was good from the home side who had a lot to do on the pitch moving forward and also making something count for themselves.
LASK made a perfect start as Florian Flecker scored in the 14th minutes making things 1-0 which saw more coming in the match.
Liverpool were stunned by the goal conceded, but it wasn’t easy for them making a quick come back as the match carried on with so much happening.
There was nothing which the Premier League side could do as they ended the first half behind against LASK who were formidable with their defending all though.
Liverpool resumed the second half with a goal scored by Darwin Nunez in the 56th minutes which came from the penalty spot to make sure the scoreline was 1-1 between them.
Another goal came in subsequently in the 63rd minutes of the match in which this time it was Luis Diaz who made it count with assist coming from Ryan Gravenberch who made it 1-2.
LASK were all over the place unable to make anything for themselves as the away side had total dominance bossing play and getting more of the ball.
Mohamed Salah scored in the 88th minutes which saw things increased further 1-3 as there was just little left to be played in the entire game.
Liverpool edged out LASK 1-3 in a match which saw them fought from one goal down to claim the needed three points that kicked off their Europa League campaign.
