Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has been caught up in fatal car crash after Manchester United defeated Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday, MySportDab reports.
The England star crashed his £700k Rolls Royce into a traffic island after the game as he was making his way from Turf Moor.
Footages of the accident shows Marcus Rashford’s drive damaged beyond recognition due to the intensity of the clash.
Eyewitnesses said Rashford was going on a moderate speed enough to do damage to the vehicle following the crash.
Key parts of the vehicle has been damaged but it has been confirmed Rashford luckily escaped from the wreckage without being injured.
However, he had to be checked for any internal injury injury despite not showing any sign of being affected by the wreckage.
Also, eyewitnesses said Rashford himself was terrified and shaken by the impact of the crash as he least expected it.
The incident occured after all Manchester United players alighted from the team bus to their different vehicles to head home.
Rashford’s safety during the sad incident has been linked to the model of his Roll Royce which is reportedly built with high-tech facilities to aid control and safety.
Despite the intensity of the accident, Rashford could only emerge unhurt due to the built in safety mechanism.
Parts of the vehicle affected by the accident included the rear-hand side with the bumper seen hanging loose after the collision with the traffick lamppost.
The Police and emergency services attended to Rashford, closing off a part of the road and diverting traffic while trying to jack off the ride from the road.
Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, is said to be one of Rashford’s first teammates to have hurried up to the scene to help the England star.
As of the time of filing this report, no arrest has been made yet and it has been confirmed Marcus Rashford is in a stable condition.
