Milan Gangs Brutally Attack And Stab Newcastle Fan [See Photos]

A Newcastle United fan, identified as Eddie McKay, has been brutally attacked and stabbed in Milan, MySportDab reports.

McKay, 58, is said to have been waylaid by grim looking gangsters, wielding knifes and stabbed repeatedly before the Police came to his rescue.

 

Sources close to the incident revealed Eddie McKay was among Newcastle United fans who were heading back from Newcastle United fans zone in Milan to their hotel.

It is still unclear why the hooded assailants attacked McKay with some reports attributing the incident to the violent nature of Milan’s city center.

As of the time of filing this report, McKay has been rushed to the hospital and is reportedly responding to treatment while the man-hunt for the assailants take center stage.

 

McKay joined thousands of English and Newcastle United fans, traveling to Milan for Newcastle’s Champions League clash against AC Milan today.

Newcastle United spokesperson have condemned the attack while urging Italian authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.

Grim footages of injured McKay showed the 58-year-old on a pool of blood on Milan street after being stabbed repeatedly by the gangsters.

Eyewitnesses said McKay was stabbed three times in the neck and at the back before he was rescued.

McKay’s daughter, Rachel, has confirmed his Dad is in a good condition and is responding to treatment but will not be able to watch the Newcastle United’s Champions League match against AC Milan on stands.

Newcastle United returned to Champions League after 20 years after finishing in the top four last season.

They have been placed in Group F which has been described as the group of death with Borussia Dortmund and PSG in the group.

The Magpies will take on PSG and Borussia Dortmund after the opener against AC Milan.
