Napoli have release an official statement concerning Victor Osimhen TikTok video, MySportDab reports.
The club have took their time before coming out to make an official statement concerning the whole incident.
Victor Osimhen is not pleased with the Napoli as things have went spiral after the club official TikTok account posted a video and later deleted it.
The video saw so many things going down with the player himself getting pissed off while his agent table down a lawsuit.
The video showed Victor Osimhen missing a penalty for the side in a much which they ended up playing a goalless draw.
The video came as a shock to so many and mostly the player due to how everything played down with him getting subbed in the same match.
Although the video was quickly taken down, it was already viral and many were quick to download and also share their reaction.
Napoli have now decided to make an official statement clarifying things to the public in what is also assumed as an apology to Victor Osimhen.
Here Is The Statement:
“Calcio Napoli, wishing to avoid any exploitation of the issue, point out that we never wanted to offend or mock Victor Osimhen, who is a treasure of this club”.
“As proof of that, during the summer training retreat, the Club firmly rebuffed every offer that was received for the striker’s transfer abroad”.
“Social media, in particular TikTok, has always used an expressive form of language with a light heart and creativity, without wanting to, as in the case with Osimhen as protagonist, have any intention of insult or derision”.
“In any case, if Victor perceived any offence towards him, this was not what the club intended”.
There are already claimed of the player open to making a move elsewhere when the January window open for business.
Victor Osimhen scored a goal last night as Napoli crushed Udinese 4-1 in a Italian Serie A encounter which they sealed maximum points.
