The Premier League Save of the Month of August Award Nominees has been announced with top saves making it to the list, MySportDab reports.
As usual, top Premier League goalkeepers have made it to the nominees’ list with their spectacular saves.
Jordan Pickford, Alisson Becker, Mark Flekken are some of the top goalkeepers that have made it to the list.
Tottenham Hotspur new goalkeeper has also made to the nominees’ list after a superb performance against Manchester United.
Leading the list of top saves nominated for the award is Gugliemo Vicario’s legendary save against Casemiro’s strike in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Manchester United.
Everton’s Jordan Pickford, who was nominated for the award several times last season, has been nominated for the award for August.
Pickford’s sensational stop against Wolves could not fail to make the nominated saves for the award. Jose Sai’s opposite save for Wolves in the game has also been nominated for the award.
Mark Flekken was phenomenal for Brentford at home against Crystal Palace as he produced a stunning double save to deny Ayew and Crystal Palace.
His save has been nominated for the award.
West Ham United goalkeeper Alphonse Areola has also been nominated for the award for his save away against Brighton
Liverpool’s Alisson Becker has also made it to the nominees’ list for his stunning save against Newcastle United in Liverpool’s comeback win over the Magpies at St James Park.
Becker produced a stunning save denying Almiron’s fiery strike to keep the Reds in the game.
