Out-of-favor Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has made his feelings on a possible transfer exit from Manchester United in January, MySportDab reports.
Maguire has endured a torrid stint at Manchester United since Erik ten Hag took over as Man United manager last season.
He made only 8 starts for the club and continued on his bit-part role this season.
His Manchester United fortunes further took a turn for the worst when he was axed as Manchester United captain by Erik ten Hag.
Despite his travails, Maguire has kept his place in England first team squad but there have been concerns over his chances of making Gareth Southgate’s 2024 Euros squad if his struggles at Manchester United continues.
Ahead of England double header international fixture against Australia and Italy, Maguire made his feelings on his Manchester United future clear.
He maintained he could not continue on his bit-part role for Manchester United and will be forced to talk out a solution with the club if it continues.
‘I am not going to sit here all my life and play once a month. If it carries on I am sure myself and the club will sit down and have a chat about things,’ said Maguire, speaking on international duty ahead of England’s double-header against Australia on Friday and Italy on Tuesday.
‘It’s not my decision whether I start the next game for United or not. In a couple of weeks, I’ll go back and find out.

‘At the moment, I haven’t been playing anywhere near as much as I would like. That is the bottom line.’
‘I just have to make sure I am ready to take opportunities when they come along,’ added Maguire.
‘My record under this manager speaks for itself. My win percentage when I’ve played is ridiculously high.
‘If you look back on my last 15 to 20 starts for club and country, I’m really happy with my performances.
Maguire pulled a showstopping performance for Man United in dramatic comeback over Brentford.
He provided the assist that saw McTominay scored the winning goal against the Bees.
Harry Maguire was close to an exit from Manchester United last this summer but the move collapsed as he refused Man United payoff and did not agree terms with the Hammers.
