Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been seen in a viral clip yelling at Napoli fans as he drove off from Napoli training ground, MySportDab reports.
In the footage which is available at the end of this post, Osimhen could be seen engaging the fans in a bitter exchange of words as they tried to stop him and have an autograph.
Some of the fans could be seen surrounding his car and getting on the way of it while others try to take a picture with the footballer.
Reacting to the serenade, Osimhen could be seen yelling at them and refusing to sign the autographs for them.
He angrily lashed out on some of the fans who were standing close to car door for using a marker on the car and then wind up the glass.
Victor Osimhen’s reaction could be linked to the recent difficult relationship between him and Napoli which could be traced to a controversial tiktok video the club posted on their social media handle mocking the player.
Although Osimhen called for calm following widespread criticism of the tiktok video, MySportDab understand relations between the Nigerian striker and Napoli club executives has worsened.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis issued a statement recently confirming Victor Osimhen has made a u-turn on his decision to renew his contract with the club.
According to Aurelio De Laurentiis, Osimhen had verbally agreed to a contract renewal with the club but has now rescind the decision.
Osimhen has been linked with an exit from the club in January transfer window with some top clubs in the Premier League interested in a move for him.
Napoli fans stood by Osimhen during the faceoff with the club’s hierarchy but criticised him for deleting all posts pertaining to Napoli on his social media handle.
It is believed the prolific forward is eyeing a move away from Napoli this summer due to the row that ensued between him and the club.
