According to reports from Transfer Live, Barcelona are not happy with de La Fuente who started Gavi in the dead rubber game against Georgia.

The 2023 Nations League winner made several alterations to the squad that played the first qualifiers match against Cyprus.

According to ESPN, Luis de La Fuente rested 9 players in the match against Georgia in a big rotation to the squad that defeated Cyprus.

Gavi happened to be among the two players who started the game against Georgia after they played full 90 minutes against Cyprus.

Few minutes into the Georgia match, Gavi picked up a gruesome injury and had to be subbed off.

Sources close to the player revealed the Barcelona youngster wailed in Spain dressing room after the injury.

Now, Barcelona have vented their anger on the decision of Luis de La Fuente to start Gavi in the game against Georgia when he rested 9 other players.

Gavi’s injury is yet to be examined but it was obviously not looking good for the youngster as he left the pitch in tears after the injury blow.

It is hoped he will be fit to return to action with Barcelona this weekend.
