The CAF Awards Player of the Year 2023 nominees have been announced today, MySportDab reports.
The list consists of only one Nigerian player despite the performance of so many of them in their respective clubs.
The CAF Awards player of the year nominees for 2023 consists of a 30 man list which will be cut down soon.
Sadio Mane will be looking to reclaim his award this year after winning that of 2022 thanks to his AFCON performance.
This year won’t be an easy one as Victor Osimhen have improved his game standing tall over every other players on the list.
The Nigerian striker is the only name from the country nominated by CAF who will look to crown a winner later in the year.
