The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to kick off online ticket sales for the much-anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 on November 11, MySportDab reports.

This initiative aims to engage football enthusiasts from across the continent and beyond, fostering widespread interest in this premier African football event.

In an official statement released on Thursday via the CAF website, the online ticket sales will commence on November 11, with the initial phase exclusively open to VISA payment card holders.

Two days later, on November 13, the platform will open to the general public, providing an opportunity for fans to secure their tickets well in advance of the tournament scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.

To streamline the ticketing process and ensure a seamless fan experience, CAF has developed a dedicated, fully functional, and user-friendly platform on its official website: http://tickets.cafonline.com/AFCON.

Veron Mosengo-Omba, CAF General Secretary, emphasized the federation’s commitment to facilitating access for thousands of football fans traveling to Cote d’Ivoire to witness the event. He stated, “Online tickets will enhance the ticketing experience for fans of African football and the general public.”

During this phase of sales, 25 percent of the tickets for the group stage will be made available, allowing fans to secure their seats for the 34th edition of this biennial football spectacle. Ticket prices vary, with Category Three (3) priced at 5000 FCFA (approximately 8 US Dollars), Category Two (2) at 10000 FCFA (about 16 US Dollars), and Category One (1) at 15000 FCFA (around 24 US Dollars).

Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to purchase up to six tickets per household for the group stage matches, enhancing accessibility for families and groups of supporters.

The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 is scheduled to commence in the Ivorian cities of Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro, promising a month-long celebration of African football excellence from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
