Jude Bellingham was hit with a shoulder injury during Real Madrid’s barren draw with Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Sunday.

The young playmaker and emerging footballing giant went down on the turf in pain, clutching on his shoulders in what appeared to have been a painful bone dislocation.

He was quickly attended to by Real Madrid medical staff on the field and was able to shrugged off the pain and continue with the game.

Bellingham played the full 90 minutes against Rayo Vallecano with the burden of the shoulder injury.

After the game, he was spotted with a huge bandage on his shoulder supposedly administered as a first aid ahead of medical examination and treatment.

Bellingham’s injury could be a big blow to Real Madrid and the fans after his stellar start to life at Santiago Bernabeu.

He has bagged 13 goals in all competitions for the club and is leading 2023 La Liga golden boot race with 10 goals.

Speaking after the game on the condition of Bellingham, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said Jude Bellingham will need further medical examination to ascertain the severity of the injury.

Ancelotti also expressed optimism of having Bellingham make the trip to Portugal for Wednesday Champions League clash against Sporting Braga.

He, however, added Bellingham will undergo medical test today for more clarity of the injury.

“Bellingham has a problem with his shoulder. He will undergo medical tests tomorrow. I hope he can play on Wednesday against Braga,” he said after Rayo Vallecano draw.

Bellingham has had a scintillating and brilliant career start with Los Blancos since joining the club for a record transfer fee of €103m from Borussia Dortmund.

A lit outing with the La Liga and European giants have seen the elite young talent hauled in 10 goals in 11 La Liga games with 2 assists.

He has also netted 3 Champions League goals with an assist in three matches. Bellingham capped his remarkable Real Madrid start with a showstopping performance against Barcelona in his first ElClasico.

He bagged a brace to overturn Barcelona’s 1-0 lead and hand Real Madrid an epic win over the Catalan giants.

The 2023 Kopa Trophy winner wouldn’t have asked for a better start to his La Liga debut and will be hoping to come out stronger from the injury to continue with his game.
