FT: Cyprus 1-3 Spain, Lamine Yamal STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Spain made light work of Cyprus in their Euro qualifications match beating them 1-3, MySportDab reports.

Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal was once again on target as he continue his impressive run.

The win put them in direct qualifications with them staying top of the group with one more game to go.

The encounter kicked off with optimism from the away side who made a number of changes to their regular starting side.

Spain took off smoothly with more pace than their opposition who were at home as Lamine Yamal scored the opening goal in the 5th minutes to make it 0-1.

Cyprus were just intended on making sure they did not concede more as the game continued with them trying to put up a fight which was see from them.

Mikel Oyarzabal doubled the advantage in the 22nd minutes with another outstanding goal which made sure the scoreline was 0-2 as they continued.

Spain were still pushing for more as the match continued with them pressing until Joselu scored in the 28th minutes to ensure things went further 0-3 between them.

Cyprus couldn’t make much heading into the break which they deployed so much but couldn’t stop themselves from conceding three goals which were quick.

The second half was much better as the home side did not conceded recklessly like they did in the first 45 minutes despite their defending.

Cyprus held on fine creating some opportunities but it wasn’t hitting the right position which could give them something to celebrate as they pushed on.

Spain were in no rush to make anything happen from their end as they held down steady with some glimpse of opportunity on goal.

Cyprus scored a goal in the 75th minutes which came from Kostas Pileas, and it was the only consolation with the match ending with a 1-3 result after the final whistle.
