Nigeria held to another 1-1 draw for their World Cup qualifiers match against Zimbabwe away from home, MySportDab reports.

It was an unbearable first half of football for the Super Eagles whom played like a disorganized team while the home side stayed solid.

There was a lot of improvement in the second half which was where everything was concluded between both teams who were at their best.

The Super Eagles came into the game with them expected to make massive improvement from their previous match against Lesotho.

It was Zimbabwe who had steady control of things as they pushed on making some breakthroughs but couldn’t fix everything into getting a goal for themselves.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were poor from all play which they were caught napping with some misplaced passes and unable to make much happen going forward.

Musona gave the home side the lead in the 26th minutes which was thanks to a 35 years freekick which was beautifully struck beating Francis Uzoho to make things 1-0.

There was nothing that could be done by Nigeria as they headed inside for the break with Zimbabwe on the lead 1-0 from a beautiful freekick which was the decider for 45 minutes.

There was some difference in the Super Eagles who came into the second half with hopes and making sure they applied more efforts going forward.

Zimbabwe held on to their lead making sure there was no way for their opponent to penetrate and make anything happen that would spoil their lead.

The game continued with Nigeria almost going close but Aribo couldn’t find the finish after an indirect freekick was played by the Super Eagles.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored the leveler which came in the 67th minutes of the match after a wonderful pass from Moses Simon which the Leicester City player made it 1-1.

Nigeria played out a 1-1 draw again leaving them with just two points from two games with Zimbabwe holding them after another 90 minutes of football between them.
