Graham Potter is set to return to football management with a national team offer on the table, MySportDab reports.
The former Chelsea boss has been without a job since he was dismissed from his role at Chelsea following a dismal campaign with the Blues last season.
He has been on a sabbatical and has reportedly turned down a slew of new offers as he wanted to take enough time off before returning to the dugout.
According to the Mail, Potter is closing in on returning to football management but this time a national team offer is on the table.
As per the report, Sweden have shortlisted Graham Potter as a potential replacement for Janne Andersson who has failed to qualify the country for 2024 Euros.
The Swedisn FA are set to part ways with Janne Andersson but will allow him take charge of Sweden’s last two Euro qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the search for his replacement has been on with Graham Potter reportedly leading the list of favorites to replace the indigenous boss.
Graham Potter had a successful stint in Swedish football and is highly respected figure due to his heroic stint Swedish side Orsteunds.
Potter managed Orsteunds for seven years from 2011 to 2018 in Swedish lower divisions and led the team three promotions in five years.
He has been considered as a priority successor to Andersson by the Swedish with his wealth of experience in Swedish football.
However, it is still unclear whether Potter will accept the offer. He has been linked with other top jobs across Europe, including Napoli.
