BREAKING! Luis Diaz Father Regains Freedom

Luis Diaz father, Manuel Diaz, has regained his freedom from his captors, MySportDab reports.

Manuel Diaz was taken hostage by an extremist leftist group, National Liberation Army, who have been in decades of war with the Colombian state.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirmed the guerilla group, who have been branded as terrorists vy Western Powers, were behind the kidnap operation which sent shock waves across Colombia.

Manuel Diaz was kidnapped with his wife and Luis Diaz’s mum but the later was set free by the hoodlums while Manuel Diaz remained under hostage.

Concerted efforts was made by Colombian government to rescue the father of the Liverpool star with the government promising a £40,000 bounty for whistleblowers who will help locate and rescue Manuel Diaz.

Colombian security operatives swung into operation combing the nooks and crannies of Colombia with a sting operation to rescue the victim all to no avail.

The group reportedly promised to release Luis Diaz’s father as per Colombian President Gustavo but later reneged on their promise.

Now, according to reports filtering in from multiple sources, Luis Diaz’s father has regained his freedom, 12 days after languishing under the captivity of the hoodlums.

It is still unclear how his release was secured but it is believed the Colombian government must have played a crucial role in his freedom.

Luis Diaz was excused by Liverpool due to the incident but was back to action for the Reds and dedicated his first goal after the sad incident to his father

The news of Manuel Diaz’s release is a huge relief to Diaz and his family after what appeared to be a deadlock between the guerilla group and the Colombian government.
