BREAKING! Manchester United Breaks Silence on ‘Erik ten Hag Sack’

Manchester United have finally broken their long-held silence on rumors Erik ten Hag has been sacked by the club, MySportDab reports.

An unconfirmed report on social media on Thursday, November 2, 2023, said Erik ten Hag is set to be sacked after United slumped yet again to a shameful home defeat to Newcastle United at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup.

Miguel Almiron, Lewis Hall, and Joe Willock scored a goal each as Newcastle United inflicted a heavy 3-0 defeat on the Red Devils at Old Trafford to bundle them out of the competition.

After the match, Erik ten Hag admitted to the poor state of things saying United is indeed ‘in a bad place’

Meanwhile, he has been coming under intense pressure since Man United’s dismal campaign shows no sign of abating.

United are now miles away from top four with just 15 points and have been ruled out by pundits on their likelihood to challenge for the title.

Amid the club’s dwindling fortunes, Erik ten Hag seemed to have lost the confidence of the fans and there have been calls for him to be sacked especially after the defeat to Newcastle United.

A report later emerged on Thursday, November 2, 2023 that United are set to part ways with ten Hag with former Real Madrid manager and French tactician, Zinedine Zidane, eyed by the club as his potential replacement.

Now, Man United have reacted to the report of the imminent sack of the Dutch

As per Fabrizio Romano Manchester United are not ready to part ways with Erik ten Hag despite the poor run of results.

The club had reportedly debunked the sack rumors as ‘categorically false.’

We reported earlier Erik ten Hag has the backing of Man United hierarchy despite the poor run of result. However, it is still unclear how long he will stay on the job if the team continue to struggle for results after he had forked out over £400m on new signings since joining the club.

Amidst mounting pressure from United fanbase, ten Hag will hope to return the team to winning ways when they travel to London to take on Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.
