Manchester United have confirmed an update on players available ahead of the club’s Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils will travel to Craven Cottage for a make-or-mar clash against Fulham after a dismal run of results.
Ahead of the game, United club statement on the squad reveals the team will miss key players going into the match.
Casemiro leads the list of key players set to be absent from the trip to Craven Cottage.
The Brazilian midfielder picked up an injury in Carabao Cup loss to Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
Details of the severity of Casemiro’s injury blow is still sketchy but Erik ten Hag has confirmed he is out of the Fulham match.
“I can’t give an answer on the severity of Casemiro’s injury,” Ten Hag replied when questioned on the severity of the issue.
“We have to wait 24 hours, but I think definitely for Saturday, he is out,” he added.
Elsewhere, it is still unclear whether Raphael Varane will be available for the match as he did not make the lineup against Newcastle United due to illness.
United have also received a big boost at the back with Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to action.
Wan-Bissaka’s came on as a substitute in the game against Newcastle and will be ready to start at the defense against Marco Silva’s boys at Craven Cottage.
Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, and Luke Shaw are still sidelined by Amad Diallo is back to full fitness and will make the trip.
Manchester United first team regulars such as Bruno Fernandes, Sofyan Amrabat, Rasmus Holjund, Sergio Reguilon, Johnny Evans, and Harry Maguire are also expected to make the squad list.
United will hope to reverse the winless and scoreless run after two matches when they take on Fulham in London on Saturday.
