Pep Guardiola Stoke Reactions With Cheeky Chelsea Remark After 4-4 Draw [VIDEO]

Pep Guardiola hit the rocks at Stamford Bridge as it all ended square between the Premier League champions Manchester City and Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

In a game which has passed as one of the most thrilling and engaging encounter so far this season, Manchester City thrice took the lead but were pegged back thrice by Chelsea.

Erling Haaland continued on his prolific goal-scoring run with a brace putting the away side ahead twice early in both halves but Chelsea fought back through Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, and Cole Palmer to even the score.

Manchester City nearly ran out with a win after Rodri scored an 86th minute goal from outside box to make it 4-3 but a late spotkick by Cole Palmer restored parity again for the Blues. The match ended with the two sides sharing spoils.

So far, Chelsea have not lost to any big team at Stamford Bridge this season. They have drew Liverpool and Arsenal – a fact Pep Guardiola recognized in his press conference after the game.

Speaking after the game, Pep Guardiola hailed the fighting spirit and resilience of Chelsea throughout the game.

In a rather candid and cheeky remark, Guardiola said, “This is Chelsea! They don’t go away.

“They have drawn Liverpool, and were better than Arsenal and drew them as well. Hence, the result against us wasn’t a surprise.”

Guardiola went on to laud the immense improvement in the team and rated the team as among the best and promising squad with a bunch of talents.

The 8-goal thriller draw was the first time Manchester City have drop points against Chelsea in their last 10 games.

Since losing 2021 Champions League final to the Blues, Manchester City have went on an incredible winning run against Chelsea.

They have won all their last nine games against the Blues without conceding a goal but were finally pegged back at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with Mauricio Pochettino’s young, talented and promising new Blues’ squad.
